Questions, corrections, or feedback on an article? We read everything, though we can't always reply individually.

Editorial

For article corrections, fact-checking questions, topic suggestions, or tip-offs to research we should cover, email [email protected]. Include the article URL if you're writing about a specific piece — it helps us find it fast.

Privacy requests

For data access or deletion requests under GDPR, CCPA, or similar data protection laws, email the same address with "Privacy request" in the subject line. Because we don't collect personally identifying information from most visitors, these requests are usually resolved quickly by confirming we have nothing on file.

Press and partnerships

Journalists: use the same address with "Press" in the subject line. Please include your publication name and deadline. We don't accept anonymous press inquiries, and we can't provide interviews at short notice, but we do our best.

For educational partnerships — e.g., linking from a men's health nonprofit, co-authoring on a patient education project — email "Partnership" in the subject line with a one-paragraph summary of what you're proposing. We evaluate partnerships based on whether they align with our editorial standards; see the advertising disclosure page for details.

What we don't answer

  • Personal medical questions. We cannot and will not interpret your lab results, recommend or change your medications, or advise on your treatment plan. These are conversations for your doctor, not our editorial inbox.
  • Requests for diagnosis. We are not clinicians, and we don't publish personalized diagnostic advice. If you're worried about symptoms, please talk to a licensed healthcare professional.
  • Urgent medical concerns. If something feels urgent, call a medical professional right away. Do not wait for email.

Response time

We read every message. Response times are usually within a week but can be longer during busy periods. Emails about factual errors jump to the top of the queue — please flag corrections in the subject line with "Correction" so we can find them fast.

In a crisis? If you're in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, please reach out immediately. In the US, call or text 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline). In the UK, call 116 123 (Samaritans). These are free, 24/7, and confidential.
